Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)

Multnomah University has been accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) since 2005. NWCCU is a regional accrediting association of postsecondary institutions in the seven-state Northwest region of Alaska, 爱达荷州, 蒙大拿, 内华达, 俄勒冈州, 犹他州, 和华盛顿.

NWCCU regional accreditation is a voluntary, 非政府, self-regulatory process of quality assurance and institutional improvement. NWCCU accreditation recognizes higher education institutions for performance, 完整性, and quality to merit the confidence of the educational community and the public. NWCCU accreditation qualifies institutions and enrolled students for access to federal funds for support teaching, 研究, and student financial aid.

7月7日, 2023, Multnomah University received a Show-Cause Sanction, indicating serious non-compliance with one or more Standards of 认证. Multnomah is working swiftly and decisively to address this sanction.

Association of Theological Schools (ATS)

Multnomah Biblical Seminary (of Multnomah University) is accredited with the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the United States and Canada. Additionally, Multnomah Biblical Seminary is approved for a Comprehensive Distance Education Program.

The following degree programs are approved:

  • Master of Divinity (M.Div.)
  • M.A. in Christian Leadership
  • M.A. 圣经研究
  • M.A. in Theological Studies
  • M.A. in Applied Theology (MAAT)
